Four face cash machine theft charges

Four men charged with a series of cash machine thefts - including one at a Larkfield NatWest branch - have been remanded in custody.

They are: Jon Leonard Cloke, 23, of Rochester Road, Gravesend; Tony Clive Hart, 22, of Bryony Driver, Kingsnorth, Ashford; Jason Maurice Reader, 33, formerly of Valley Drive, Gravesend; and Phillip Anthony Scott Turner, 22, formerly of Christianfields Avenue, Gravesend.

They will face charges of conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to steal at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, February 16.

The charges relate to a series of alleged cash machine thefts between June and October last year, including the attempted theft of two cash machines from the NatWest bank in London Road, Larkfield, using a stolen JCB.
