Fratellis rock into Thanet

The Fratellis, hailed as the best new group in Britain by NME, play Margate Winter Gardens tomorrow, December 10.

Their debut album Costello Music sold more than a million copies and was followed by sell-out tours and a strong live DVD called Edgy in Brixton.

From factory workers in Glasgow to rock star glitterati - Pete Townsend from The Who, performed with the lads at SXSW, Texas) - their appeal is undeniable and real.

For the past couple of months the band have been locked away in their Glasgow studio recording the follow up to their triple platinum debut. They say that “the soul is the same with that unmistakable Fratellis glam sound, with a pinch of Led Zeppelin riffs and good old fashion Jerry Lee Lewis rock 'n' roll.”

Tickets are £20 from the box office, telephone 01843 296111.
