Hollywood star George Clooney could move to Kent with fiancee Amal Alamuddin after 'considering buying home of Downton Abbey producer'

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney could be moving to Kent with his new fiancee, it has emerged.

The A-list star is reportedly considering buying a mansion in the county with lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

Gravity actor Clooney, 53, is said to be thinking about snapping up a £3million 10-bedroom countryside property.

He has made enquiries about the Grade II-listed Kent home of a Downton Abbey producer, according to a newspaper.

The house has an outdoor pool, wine cellar, formal gardens and a barn conversion next door.
Clooney is due to tie the knot with London-based lawyer Amal in September.

He proposed to the 36-year-old in April after the pair met at a charity event last year.
