All change for Kent MPs Hugh Robertson, Helen Grant and Greg Clark in government reshuffle

There are new ministerial jobs for three MPs from Kent as the Prime Minister reshuffles his team today.

And the changes involve a partial job swap between two of them.

Faversham and Mid Kent MP Hugh Robertson has been promoted to the job of minister of state at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Meanwhile, Maidstone and the Weald MP Helen Grant has been appointed sports minister at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.

That is being seen as a sideways move from the Ministry of Justice, where she looked after victims' rights and held the same rank.

Ms Grant is a keen sports enthusiast and while at school became under-16 judo champion in north of England and southern Scotland.

And the Tunbridge Wells MP Greg Clark becomes minister of state for cities and constitution at the Cabinet Office.

Both the Conservative leader David Cameron and Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg are carrying out a reshuffle of middle-ranking ministers.
