kmfm news: Alexa-enabled devices now deliver Kent news

Kent residents with Alexa-enabled devices now have access to the county's best news service direct from kmfm.

Simply say: 'Hey Alexa, what's the news in Kent?' to get the latest bulletin from our newsroom.

The bulletin is updated every hour between 6am and 6pm weekdays and 8am to 1pm at weekends.

Programme manager Rob Wills said: “kmfm is Kent’s entertainment and news authority and it is really important to us that our audiences can access our content wherever they are and whenever they want it.

"We are really excited about the launch and we are working hard on more digital initiatives that improve our audience's experience.”

Ian Carter, KM Group editorial director, said: "It is great that our audience now has yet another way to access our news.

"KM Group is a truly multi-media operation, with some of the country's biggest-selling newspapers, the county's largest news website KentOnline, our award-winning kmfm stations and our new television service KMTV.'
