Hundreds of thousands at risk of diabetes in Kent

At least 160,000 people in Kent are at risk of developing diabetes, figures show.

The NHS released the data to kick start a national campaign aimed at helping people realise the dangers of the condition.

Phil Goldacre, from Sittingbourne, who lost a leg as a result of diabetes, says more needs to be done to spread awareness.
