There are two restaurants in Kent which have been marked with the stamp of culinary excellence. One of them is the West House in Biddenden. The venue was opened in 2002 by Graham and Jackie Garrett. Treat yourself to a spa day

There surely is nothing better after a long week at work than being pampered. One of the spas that you could visit is Champneys hotel spa in Ashford, Eastwell Manor. The historic property has landscaped gardens and parkland as well as the all important spa to make sure you feel relaxed by the end of your stay. Be the king of the castle

Who knew that you were able to stay overnight at Leeds Castle? Well, now you can. If you decide to take up the opportunity of staying in the grounds of the castle, which opened in 1119, you'll have your pick of the places you can stay. A sleepover... at a ZOO!

So this is a thing. Port Lympne has a range of pinewood pods which are perfect if all you want to do is wake up and see the animals. There are 13 on the site in Hythe. They're heated, have two single beds with "comfy" mattresses, a futon and plenty of storage. There are also some stylish shepherds huts which have all the creature comforts. And then once you've had a good night's sleep you can explore the zoo, which has more than 700 animals of 88 species. War Horse

The Marlowe Theatre is the first venue to host War Horse as it embarks on its tour around the nation. It started its journey earlier this month and will be on until Saturday, October 14, before it moves onto its next venue. Tickets are a rare thing to come by but you can still get hold of some. The stage show tell the story based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs. The Gallery Cinema

Why would you go to a normal cinema when you could go to a luxury cinema. The Gallery operates out of Bluewater and movie goers there will get a cinematic experience to remember. It boasts luxurious and comfortable leather chairs so you can enjoy the film in style. There are 13 screens, its fully air conditioned, a lounge a cafe bar, 4k projection and IMAX screens. Tickets for two people to go an see Kingsman: The Golden Circle this weekend in one of the IMAX screens would cost around £30.
