The 55-year-old has now been released on police bail pending a police investigation.

Ms Briscoe is understood to have been suspended by the judiciary pending the outcome.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "A 55-year-old woman was arrested in Clapham, south London, on Saturday, October 6.
