Man, 70, suffers multiple injuries after ladder fall in Cuxton

A pensioner is in hospital with multiple injuries after falling 10ft onto concrete.

The 70-year-old man plunged from a ladder at a property in Cuxton.

Ambulance crews were called to the village at around 1.15pm yesterday.

The Kent Air Ambulance was scrambled to the scene and transferred the patient to Kings College Hospital in London.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said the man suffered from head, leg and spinal injuries.
