Man appears in court after alleged stabbing of Graeme Beechey

A man's fighting for his life in hospital after an alleged stabbing on Boxing Day.

Graeme Beechey, 35, is in a critical but stable condition after the incident in Western Road, Deal at around 10.30pm.

Now James Larkin, 36, of High Street, Deal, has been remanded in custody after appearing before Folkestone magistrates yesterday charged with attempted murder.

A 47-year-old Deal woman, who was arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on bail until 26 January pending further inquiries.
