Man dies after crash in Ariel Atom in Kemsing

A passenger in a high-performance Ariel Atom car has died a week after the car he was in hit a tree.

The man - in his 20s and from the Sevenoaks area - died in hospital on Saturday after the crash in Childsbridge Lane, Kemsing on Saturday, September 15.

Investigating officer PC Jamie Woodhams from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “The man who died was a passenger in a black Ariel Atom which was travelling south on Childsbridge Lane when it’s believed the car left the road and collided with a tree.

“Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this time and the investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing."

She asked for anyone who could help with information to contact police.

She added: "The Ariel Atom is a high performance sports car and is very distinctive. If you saw the collision or the car earlier that afternoon we would like to hear from you.”

The driver was a man in his 40s from the Sevenoaks area.
