Man dies from injuries after A20 crash

A cyclist from north Kent has died after being hurt in a road crash on the A20.

Peter Stubbs was riding along London Road, near Wrotham, when he was involved in a collision with a black Hyundai.

The incident happened at around 7.50pm on Tuesday, May 4.

The 58-year-old, of St Mary's Way, Longfield, was taken to a London hospital but died from his injuries the next day.

An inquest into the death was opened and adjourned on Thursday, May 6.

The road was closed while emergency services, including members of Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, dealt with the incident.

It reopened around 10.30pm.
