Two people have been arrested after a stabbing in Ramsgate.

A man in his 30s was found with a knife wound in the town centre yesterday afternoon.

Detectives are still holding a woman along with a 69-year-old man, from Ramsgate, over the serious assault.

Kent Police and an air ambulance were called to Brunswick Court, in Hardres Street, at about 3pm.

The air ambulance left the scene at 4pm, taking the man to King's College hospital in London.

He was described as seriously injured.
