A 75-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious burns after a fire broke out in a shed in Canterbury.
Firefighters were called to the scene at a house in St Nicholas Road, Thanington at around 2.45pm Thursday.
Ambulance crews were already treating the victim when they arrived. Police were also called to secure the house while the man was taken to hospital.
The blaze was put out by 3.10pm.
