An investigation has begun into what caused a blaze at a school building in Swanley.

Fire crews were called to the scene of the fire in a services building at Hextable School at around 4.30am Sunday and at its height four pumps were involved in the operation.

Parts of the building had to be stripped away in an effort to tackle the blaze and crews were dampening down until around 8am before handing the site over to the police.

No-one was hurt in the incident.
