Olympics spectators travelling between Kent and Stratford International faced major disruption this afternoon, after a trespasser forced a section of Southeastern's high-speed line to be shut.

No trains were able to run between Ebbsfleet International and Stratford, causing some services to the Olympic Park to be cancelled and others delayed.

All lines have now been reopened.

The high-speed 'Javelin' trains travel at speeds of up to 140mph.
They are expected to carry 25,000 people an hour to and from the Games.
