Snow warning for drivers in Kent

Drivers are being warned to take care in the snow this afternoon as flurries continue to fall across Kent.

Kent Highways has tweeted warnings in several locations, including Maidstone and Dartford, as temperatures are set to hover around zero overnight.

This could lead to patches of ice on untreated surfaces.

A yellow Met Office weather warning for snow and ice is in place until midnight and a yellow warning for ice has been issued from 5am to 10am tomorrow.

The cold spell is expected to last throughout Monday, with temperatures rising again on Tuesday.
