Justin Kemp will not be returning to Kent County Cricket Club next season.
Coach Paul Farbrace revealed this week that the 32-year-old South African all-rounder could not come back to St Lawrence for a fifth season because Kemp doesn’t qualify as a Kolpak player next summer under new regulations.
Kemp struggled with a back injury in 2008 but returned to form this summer hitting 780 first class runs, including 183 against Surrey at The Oval in July.
