The weekend is nearly upon us which means you can start to think about getting that weekly takeaway or even eating out.
To make things easier, here are eight places that make some of the best pizzas in Kent.
This pizzeria in Burgate is one of the most idyllic places to gather with your friends or family for a bite to eat. Opening from 11am at the weekends, this restaurant serves sourdough pizzas with "mouthwatering cocktails, fine wines and carefully chosen beer". The diner has a wide ranging menu from the classic margherita to the more showy San Daniele. For more visit www.chaptercanterbury.co.uk
Caesars Italian Restaurant, Gravesend
This place was set up and opened in 2006 by true Italians Massimo and Gino. The food menu has everything you could want from an Italian restaurant including Bruschetta starters and the obligatory pasta dishes. The venue also has a wine list which will leave you wanting more. Click here for more.
Pizza Express, Ramsgate
Right on the water's edge and on the harbour wall this restaurant has a stylish, oval-shaped dining area. It boasts amazing views across the harbour which is packed with historic boats and stylish yachts. And to top it all off the chain has just launched its autumn menu which features a meaty Campana Romana pizza. There's more here.
Il Padrino, Gravesend
This restaurant comes with a wood-smoked oven so each pizza that's made has a truly authentic Italian taste. This restaurant is based in Gravesend's Stone Street and has been going since 2014. It has also appeared on BBC two's 'The Restaurant Man'.
GB Pizza Company, Margate
This restaurant is all about the great Kentish produce which surrounds it. It also has community at its heart and donates 50p for each Turner Contemporary pizza it sells. It's topped with spinach, pine nuts, sultanas and pecorino. For more on the restaurant click here.
Don Vincenzo, Rochester
This high street restaurant first opened its doors in 1998. Run by Tino and his team, they strive to make "simple tasty Italian food". The ingredients are sourced from around Britain and Italy and the menu includes all the classics, including the grand Don Vincenzo.
Kent Life, Maidstone
The heritage farm park, near Maidstone, now serves up delicious 9” pizzas made with high-quality ingredients during holidays, weekends, and special events. The Italian favourite, available with a range of toppings, can then be enjoyed in The Pizza Garden located in between Kent Life’s tea room terrace and the herb garden.
Located just off Maidstone High Street, it has got to be one of the best places to take the weight off your feet. The venue has plenty of seating and a jam-packed menu to satisfy everyone. You could indulge in the starters and sharers or sit back and wait for the puddings. One thing's for sure, you'll certainly fill up on lots and lots of pizza.
