A THREE-YEAR-OLD girl from Margate is being treated in hospital following a collision in Cliftonville, near Margate, last night.

The child was in collision with a Fiat Punto in Harold Road at about 9.15pm. The car was driven by a woman from Ramsgate.

The girl was initially taken to hospital in Margate but later transferred to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

She suffered head injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
