Top DJ Tony Blackburn joins kmfm

ONE of the country's legendary DJs, Tony Blackburn, is joining the Kent Messenger Group as a presenter with our kmfm local radio stations.

The I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here winner is heading to Kent for a year-long stint with a new weekend show which starts on kmfm this Sunday.

Tony has has won 36 awards during his 40 year career in broadcasting. He’s seen and done it all - from uttering the first words on BBC Radio 1 to hosting Top of the Pops, from enjoying modest chart success himself to being crowned King of the Jungle as the 2002 winner of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

For his kmfm programme, which will go on air between 4 and 7pm each Sunday, he will mix contemporary pop and rock with many of his own favourite tracks.
