There was traffic chaos in and around Strood High Street this afternoon after two vehicles collided.

The accident happened outside The Bulls Head pub on the corner of Gun Lane and London Road at 3.23pm.

A blue van and a small silver car were involved in the accident. A white van was also hit. Nobody was injured.

An ambulance called the accident in after the crew came across it while out and about,

According to eye witnesses police patrols took around an hour to reach the scene with a by-stander directing cars around the crash scene.
