Twisters - or funnel clouds - spotted over Kent

Several twisters have been spotted over Kent today.

At least two of the spinning cloud formations were seen off the coast near Margate, with several people taking to social media to discuss the phenomenon.

A funnel cloud is made up of condensed water droplets. Although they spin, the formation only becomes a tornado on contact with the ground.
