An open day for potential new students takes place at the University of Greenwich at Medway on Saturday.

Tours of the Medway campus at Chatham Maritime will be taking place with tutors offering advice on the range of courses available.

There will also be talks on finance and student support, student life, applying to

university and how to choose the right subject.

The event takes place between 10am and 3pm. A free bus service will run between Medway and the Greenwich campus which is also staging an open day at the same time.

The School of Science will be taking visitors to see their laboratories and offering them the opportunity to take part in a DNA testing session.

The School of Engineering will also be showing visitors their facilities.
