Nominations open for Ward and Partners Children's Awards

Every year an extra special group of courageous Kent youngsters show us life is for living.

They are our annual Ward and Partners Children’s Awards winners – and the nomination period to find this year’s brave and inspiring bunch has now opened.

No child should have to face adversity, illness or disability, but the awards, held in conjunction with the Kent-based estate agent, aim to celebrate the incredible efforts and achievements of these lionhearted children.

There are also categories to recognise the sterling work of the charities, carers and fundraisers which support them.

The awards, which take place in the autumn, are now in their 14th year. And to make the event even bigger and better we are adding a new category.

This is Courage and Bravery and is now open for nominations, alongside the others, with all the details listed, left.

To nominate a child, family or charity that you believe is deserving please go to this page of www.kentonline.co.uk

They could be in with the chance of a prize, not to mention the opportunity to enjoy a glittering night out at the awards evening, which will again be hosted by Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins.

For families whose lives are ruled by hospital trips and medical treatment the gala night provides them with not only the chance to have lots of fun and make some special memories but also the opportunity to revel in their amazing determination and achievement – something we should all be celebrating.
