Tony Burman closes on a fifth summer signing for Dartford

Dartford manager Tony Burman is hoping to make his fifth summer signing this weekend.

Burman has been in talks with two players recently and one of those, Tyrone Sterling, joined the club last week.

Now the Darts boss is close to adding another body to his squad for next season.

He said: “There is a player in the pipeline. He’s away on holiday at the moment and I’m meeting him on Saturday or Sunday. He will possibly be signing for us.”

Sterling follows goalkeeper Alan Julian, defender Kenny Clark and midfielder Max Cornhill in moving to Princes Park this summer.
