Shamir Goodwin scored again but Tonbridge dropped into the Skrill South bottom three after a 2-1 defeat at Bishop's Stortford on Saturday.

On-loan Brighton striker Goodwin put Angels in front with a header on 14 minutes after his initial strike hit the bar. It was the 19-year-old’s second goal in as many games for the club.

High-fliers Stortford hit back on 27 minutes through Reece Prestedge and they scored the winner five minutes before half-time courtesy of a superb strike from Kyle Vassell.

Cliff Akurang went close to a third for the hosts, while Vassell had an effort ruled out for offside during the second half.

Manager Tommy Warrilow’s Angels are 20th in the table, in the bottom three on goal difference, following the defeat.
