Bromley manager Mark Goldberg signs four including former Gillingham pair Adam Birchall and Harry Grant

Striker Adam Birchall has joined Conference South Bromley following his release from Gillingham.

Birchall made just 21 appearances for the Gills since signing for the club in July 2011.

He is one of four new signings that Bromley announced on Wednesday night.

Following Birchall to Hayes Lane is another former Gills forward Harry Grant, who spent last season at Priestfield with the development squad.

Bishop’s Stortford’s Reece Prestedge and former Charlton youth player Sam Long make up the quartet.

Birchall is the highest profile capture for Mark Goldberg’s Bromley.

His time at the Gills was blighted with a knee injury that left him sidelined for his first season at the club.He then struggled to force his way into the first team, with two loan spells at Dartford.

Last season he scored two goals for the Darts in the Skrill Premier campaign.
