Marek Nahlik scored twice but it wasn’t enough for an under-strength Invicta Dynamos to beat struggling Solent & Gosport in the NIHL South Division 1 clash in Hampshire on Sunday night.

The game ended 2-2 after Nahlik netted a late equaliser to earn the Mos a point against the second-bottom Devils.

Mos, who were without Shaun Yardley, Elliott Knell, Andy Smith, Daniel Fudger, Callum Fowler and Chris Douglas, opened the scoring before the hosts took the lead with two goals in 27 seconds in the second period.

The result means second-placed Mos are now four points behind leaders, Chelmsford, who they play this weekend, with four games to go.

Douglas, Fowler and Yardley also missed Saturday’s home Southeast Trophy challenge showdown against the London Raiders but they still had enough firepower to win 7-5.

Shaun Wild (2), Nahlik (2), Andy Smith, Anthony Leone and man-of-the-match Juraj Huska scored the goals.
