FA Cup Third Qualifying Round draw

Chatham Town's best FA Cup run for 20 years will take them to Horsham in the third qualifying round.

The Chats beat Whyteleafe 2-1 on Saturday to reach this stage of the competition for the first time since 1993.

Victory against the Ryman League Division 1 South outfit would send Chatham to within 90 minutes of the first round proper, a stage on which they last appeared in the 1920s.

Sittingbourne's first involvement in the third qualifying round for 16 years will see them travel to face Skrill South side Staines Town.

Joint-manager Nick Davis scored the winner when the Brickies knocked out Thamesmead Town 2-1 on Saturday.

A home tie against AFC Rushden & Diamonds awaits Dover Athletic, who beat Guernsey 3-2 at Lancing FC on Saturday.

Ebbsfleet United will face Skrill South opposition at home in the third qualifying round after seeing off Kent rivals Folkestone 1-0. Steve Brown's side will meet the winner of the replay between Eastbourne Borough and Farnborough.

Monday's draw also handed Maidstone United a home tie. Their reward for winning 4-1 at Merstham is a clash with either Barton Rovers or Boreham Wood at the Gallagher Stadium.

Tonbridge Angels will travel to St Albans City, of the Southern League Premier Division, if they can find a way past Hayes & Yeading in Tuesday night's replay at Longmead. The first game finished 0-0 on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Skrill South high-flyers Bromley have been handed another home tie, this time against Ryman League Division 1 North side Heybridge Swifts.

The ties will be played over the weekend of October 12.
