Gillingham have extended Michael Harriman's loan from QPR until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland under-21 right-back has made 24 starts for Gills in League 1 since joining in August.

He had made no secret of his desire to finish the season at Gillingham, even though he signed a one-year contract extension at Loftus Road in October.

Harriman, whose initial loan deal was due to finish this month, will be available for the away game at Colchester on Saturday.
