Gillingham have extended the loan of Charlton Athletic striker Joe Pigott, retaining his services for an extra month.

The 20-year-old has played three times for the League 1 side since arriving from The Valley on transfer deadline day and scored on his first start in the win against Carlisle United.

The Maidstone-born star also impressed as he led the line alone in the 1-0 reverse at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

Pigott is available for the trip to Bristol City on Saturday and will remain eligible until after the visit to MK Dons on Tuesday, March 25.
