KENT all-rounder James Tredwell has been called up to the England senior squad for the first time in his career.

Tredwell has been selected as part of England's 16-man one-day squad that will play five matches against New Zealand next month before a Test series starts in March.

Tredwell spent a couple of months in India with the England Performance Squad alongside Kent opener Joe Denly before christmas.
