Gillingham goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has signed a new two-year-contract.

The 32-year-old was voted Gills' player of the year by the club's supporters for his consistent displays across the 2013/14 season.

Nelson, who played every minute of every game last season, has committed himself to the Gills until the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

He joined Gillingham in July 2012 and was a key member of the side which won the League 2 title under Martin Allen.
