The result of the day in Ryman League Division 1 South came at the Fullicks Stadium, where Folkestone Invicta beat high-flying Leatherhead 2-0.

The Tanners started the day top of the league but goals from Dane Luchford and Paul Booth extended Folkestone's unbeaten home run to nine matches and lifted Neil Cugley's side to 10th, five points outside the play-off spots.

Ramsgate are sixth thanks to a 4-0 win away to nine-man Eastbourne Town. Jack Parter (2), Jamie Carroll and Dave Pilcher were on target for the Rams.

Just a point behind them are Faversham Town, who came from a goal down to win 3-1 at lowly Three Bridges. Their goals came from Matt Bourne, Luke Harvey and Jamie Maxted.

Hythe Town suffered their fourth consecutive away defeat, 4-0 at Peacehaven & Telscombe, while Sittingbourne lost by the same scoreline at home to Walton Casuals.

Goals from Ben Brown and Joe Nelder fired Herne Bay into a 2-0 lead at home to Horsham but the visitors fought back to salvage a 2-2 draw.

In the Premier Division, Gary Borrowdale's third goal in as many home games helped Margate come from behind to draw 1-1 draw with Canvey Island. That result leaves the Gate ninth, seven points from the play-offs.

Theo Fairweather-Johnson's goal looked to have earned struggling Thamesmead Town a precious away win at Lewes but the home side struck in the last minute to make it 1-1.

Cray Wanderers remain just a point off the bottom after they were beaten 1-0 at home by Billericay. Helge Orome was sent off to compound another bad day for the Wands.

Promotion hopefuls Maidstone United didn't play and results elsewhere left them fourth, six points behind leaders AFC Hornchurch. However, the Stones, who travel to sixth-placed Bognor Regis Town on Tuesday night, have games in hand over all the sides above them.

It was a day to forget for Kent clubs in Division 1 North.

Leaders VCD Athletic suffered only their second defeat of the season, 2-1 at home to Harlow Town, although they still hold a seven-point advantage over the chasing pack.

Chatham Town crashed 5-1 at Soham Town Rangers. The home side were 3-0 up when Ade Yussuf pulled a goal back, but the Chats had Liam Hickey sent off and conceded twice more before the end.

Meanwhile, a 3-0 home defeat to Dereham Town has left Erith & Belvedere just one place above the relegation zone.
