Pre-season friendly round-up: Maidstone United beat Dagenham & Redbridge at the Gallagher Stadium

Maidstone United kicked-off their pre-season friendly programme with a 1-0 win over League 2 side Dagenham & Redbridge at the Gallagher Stadium on Tuesday night.

Jack Parkinson scored the only goal of the game, volleying home a Matt Bodkin corner on 22 minutes. Bodkin was one of several new signings in the Stones squad, while trialist Jordan Casey played the first 45 minutes.

Elsewhere, Faversham Town lost 2-1 at home to Fisher, while Sittingbourne went down 4-1 to Welling United at Woodstock Park.

Sevenoaks Town won 6-1 away to Lewisham Borough and Tunbridge Wells were 3-2 winners at Rusthall, while Phoenix Sports lost 4-2 at home to Sutton Athletic.
