Twickenham beckons for rugby clubs

A TWICKENHAM final is tantalisingly close for Dover and Betteshanger Rugby Clubs when they meet in the last 16 of the national Powergen Junior Vase.

The game kicks off at 2pm at Dover’s Crabble ground on Saturday, with the winners just two matches away from the dream final on Sunday, April 9.

The teams met just before Christmas in a London South East 4 league match, Betteshanger claiming a 13-9 home victory, but they are level with two other teams at the top of the table, each with seven wins from 10 games.

Dover also have a Kent Cup second round match, at home to Ashford, on Sunday at 2pm.
