Keiba awards deadline extended
Comments |
An award to honour excellence in business has proved
so popular the deadline for entries has been extended.
The Kent Excellence in Business Awards
(KEiBA) had its successful first year in 2009, and now the hunt is
on for this year's most enterprising Kent businesses.
To that end, the deadline has been extended by a week to 5pm
March 26, to give businesses more time to enter.
Kevin Lynes, KCC Cabinet Member for Regeneration
and Economic Development said: "Time is running out to enter the
premier business awards for Kent. With spring on the way, now is a
good time to think about the year ahead.
"So why not celebrate with the staff that help to make your
business a success and market yourselves further to the outside
world. T
"The awards process also acts a bit like a spring clean by
giving you a free health check to make sure you are ready for the
year's rigours.
"So go on, go to the website, download the entry form and fill
it in."
Geraldine Allinson, Chairman of the KM Group, said: "Awards are
one of the most powerful and cost-effective ways of marketing a
business.
"Hopefully with this deadline extension more businesses will be
able to find the time to enter."
The awards scheme is staged and produced by Kent County Council
and KM Group and aims to recognise excellence in business across
Kent and Medway.
