Steve Clare becomes NatWest commercial banking director

Steve Clare has returned to his Kentish roots as NatWest
commercial banking director.
He will look after small and medium businesses in Maidstone
& Medway, where he joined the bank in 1983.
His first job was at NatWest's Gillingham High Street branch,
followed by a move to Maidstone in 1985, working his way through
various branch roles before joining the West Malling Business
Centre in the early 1990s.
He was a relationship manager in both Medway and Maidstone
before undertaking business director roles across Kent.
Mr Clare leads the Commercial Banking team from the bank's
County Gate offices in Maidstone alongside 11 relationship managers
and two business development managers, reporting to Kent regional
director Warren Mulvihull.
Mr Clare went to King's School, Rochester, and has always lived
in Medway. He has three children, aged 12, 16 and 18.
He said: "I am delighted to return to an area I class as home
and am looking forward to meeting up with familiar faces in the
business community. "
