Ross Thompson joins UK Power Networks' training programme

Ross Thompson joins UK Power Networks Graduate Development ProgrammeRoss Thompson, from Gravesend, has joined UK Power Networks' Graduate Development Programme.

He has just graduated from Southampton University with a masters degree in electronic engineering.

Ross, 25, has already had four summer placements with UK Power Networks.

Chris Degg, UK Power Networks' director of human resources, said graduates were an important part of its skills strategy. "We are always looking to develop strong leadership and have high-performing people. These are some of our key objectives we are seeking in our young graduates."

Ross added: "The scheme is so well organised. I was delighted to get the place."
