Jonathan Simmons joins Vertex Law

Vertex Law has been joined by one of Kent’s most experienced legal specialists.

Jonathan Simmons has been appointed head of the employment team at the Kings Hill firm.

This former president of the Kent Law Society (2009/10) most recently ran Simmons & Co, a niche employment law firm he set up in 2007.

“I have known people at Vertex Law for many years and have worked alongside them on a number of occasions,” said Mr Simmons, who lives between Marden and Goudhurst.

“I was well aware the firm provided a high level of commercial expertise along with a client-focused service so I was confident my clients would continue to be well looked after once I had joined Vertex.”

Mr Simmons, married with two grown-up sons and a daughter at school, has also been an in-house lawyer for ICI. He acts for large and small businesses and charities, in both contentious and non-contentious work.
