Watchfinder in Maidstone has sold watches worth £100 million since launch in 2002
Maidstone-based pre-owned watch retailer Watchfinder & Co has reached a milestone of £100 million in total sales since its launch in 2002.
The company announced a record year of sales as turnover increases by 55% year on year
The company, founded 12 years ago online in Kent, sold nearly 7,000 high-end timepieces in 2013.

Recent successes include the February opening of the retailer's first boutique at The Royal Exchange and a programme of private watchmaking masterclasses.
As a result, completed transactions during the past year rose by 25% and average basket values increased by 13%, with watches sold to over 4,000 new customers. I
In order to manage increasing demands on its employees, WF&Co. increased staff headcount from 30 to 50, with all departments being allocated additional resource.
Lloyd Amsdon, WF&Co.’s Brand Director, said: This important milestone demonstrates our commitment to setting the standard in the pre-owned market. On current performance we are forecasting to double this figure to £200m in three years.
