Car fire on A25 Maidstone Road

Motorists faced delays this morning (Tuesday) after police closed the A25 Maidstone Road in Platt after a car fire.

The car caught light near Grange Road at about 8am. Nobody was injured.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames but remain at the scene.

The road is currently closed both ways.
