A man found dead in his tent at a
music festival has been named.
Gary Neale, 49, was found dead at the
Small World Summer Gathering festival in Headcorn on Thursday,
August 26.
A post mortem was carried out last
week and an inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on
Friday (September 3).
Police are not treating Mr Neale’s
death as suspicious.
Mr Neale, who lived alone in Soleshill
Road, near Chilham, Canterbury, was a landscaper and designer for
Lee Evans Partnership Architects.
Neighbour Alida Colthop of Shottenden
Lane, said: "He was a very well liked man, who lived in the village
for about nine years."
The five-day festival is an annual
environmentally friendly event with craft and healing
workshops.
