Long delays after pile-up on M20 at Leybourne
A five-vehicle crash has been causing traffic chaos on the M20
this morning.
The pile-up blocked the coastbound carriageway at
junction four at Leybourne at about 7.30am.
All traffic was stopped while emergency services deal with
the crash in the outside lane.
Congestion was stretching back to the M26 junction while the
vehicles involved were moved to the hard shoulder.
All lanes were re-opened at about 8.15am, but traffic delays
continued.
Meanwhile, one lane of the opposite carriageway was closed
when two lorries crashed just moments later.
The smash, also near junction four, caused delays snaking back
to junction seven at Detling Hill.
