Man's river death

A man's body was found in the River Medway at Maidstone this
morning.
The man in his late 40s was found close to the Millennium Bridge
over the river, near Lockmeadow, at around 11.30am.
The bridge was closed off while the body was retrieved from the
river.
He has not yet been formally identified. Police are not treating
his death as suspicious.
