Two rush hour crashes

Three drivers were taken to hospital this morning after two separate road accidents in rush hour traffic.

The first happened in Station Road, Aylesford, at 7.15am when a Ford Ka and a Transit van were in collision. A man in his early 30s was takent to the Tunbridge Wells Hospital with neck and chest pains, although his injuries were not thought to be serious.

Shortly after at 8.20am, a Peugeot 206 and a Ford Ka were in collision close to the Shell garage on the Maidstone bound carriageway of Blue Bell Hill in Maidstone.

Both drivers were taken to Maidstone Hospital as a precaution. The road was partially closed for a short time.
