Small fire holds up traffic

A car caught light in rush hour traffic in Maidstone town centre
this morning.
Firefighters were called to the entrance to Fremlin Walk car park
at the junction of Fairmeadow and Earl Street at 8.42am, where the
car was already alight.
It took them about 10 minutes to put the small fire out, although
the incident caused traffic hold-ups for some time.
