Robbery at Snodland Ladbrokes in Holborough Road prompts CCTV appeal
Police have released CCTV images of the raid in Snodland
Masked thieves grabbed a betting shop manager and demanded money in a daring raid on a Snodland bookies.
Dramatic CCTV images show a man hurdle the counter at Ladbrokes, in Holborough Road, while another stands guard at the door.
It is believed they ran off into Thomson Close with £320.
The raid happened at just after 7.50pm last Monday.
DC Ben Clatworthy, from Tonbridge police station, said: "One male stayed by the door while the other made his way over to the counter.
"The manager pressed the shop alarm as the males were both wearing ski-masks.
"The second male then jumped the counter and grabbed hold of the manager and demanded money, and the manager has told him the money is in the till.
"The man goes over to the till and takes the money, before he jumps back over the counter and both males have left running off up Holborough Road and into Thomson Close, Snodland."
The man by the door is described as around 5ft 8ins and of medium build. The other man was around 5ft 11ins.

DC Clatworthy added: "Included in the money taken was an old-style £50 which cannot be banked.
"Perhaps a cashier at a local bank or shop recalls refusing a note of this type within the last 10 days or so?
"It is also possible that the offenders have told others of the crime."
