The body of a Kent primary school teacher murdered in Qatar was "burned beyond recognition", it has emerged.
Lauren Patterson, 24, was found dead hours after leaving a five-star hotel in Doha with a group of men early on Saturday.
Her mother Alison Patterson, who lives in West Malling, has travelled to the country as police hold two suspects.
Reports claim Miss Patterson's body was too badly burned for a visual identification to be made.
It is understood authorities in the Gulf state are set to carry out DNA testing.
Yesterday, it emerged two men have been arrested over Miss Patterson's death - but no more details have been released.
Miss Patterson had been working in the Middle East as a primary school teacher.
She had returned to Doha from the UK, where she attended her grandmother's funeral.
Miss Patterson was last seen leaving a nightclub at the five-star La Cigale Hotel on Saturday. Her body is believed to have been found among bins later that day.
It is believed she was with some men, including an ex-boyfriend who lives in Qatar.
